High Capacity

The Empire High Capacity trench shield design uses high strength materials in an optimal manner. This design uses a skin/stiffener combination rather than the traditional frame/skin combination. This design yields significant reduction in weight. The High Capacity design also gives an even greater increase in strength. You may now be able to select a shielding system on size narrower wall than the competition for a given depth condition.

Lightweight Steel

The Empire "L" Series trench shields are computer designed for optimum strength to weight. These single wall shields can be handled by back-hoe/loaders. These adaptable shields can be combined to form 3 and 4 sided units. These units are economical and are suited for use by municipalities, utilities, field tile excavators, plumbers and others with light duty excavation equipment.
