High Capacity Trench Shield

Empire’s High Capacity Trench Shield is designed using high strength materials in an optimal manner – a skin stiffener combination, rather than the traditional frame/skin combination. This design yields a significant reduction in weight and increase in strength. You may now be able to select a shielding system with a narrower wall for your given depth condition.

 

 

Lightweight Steel Trench Shields

Lightweight Steel Trench Shields or Empire “L” Series Trench Shields are computer designed for optimum strength to weight ratio. These single wall Trench Shields can be handled by back-hoes or loaders. These adaptable shields can be combined to form 3 and 4 sided units. These economical trench shields are perfectly suited for use by municipalities, utility contractors, field tile excavators or anyone with light duty excavation equipment.

 

Manhole Box

Empire’s lightweight steel manhole box adapters are used to surround the trench walls created for construction of manholes, and to provide an unobstructed area for excavating and building the manhole.   Our Manhole Boxes eliminate the chance of your trench walls caving in, creating a safer work environment.
